The "Adopt a Family" program started in 1993 with just two families. The food bank now has two initiatives to help clients in our community.One is our traditional Angel Tree Program where a sponsor can pick an angel off a tree, and the second one is our Christmas Adopt a Family Program where a sponsor can choose to buy gifts, gifts and food, gifts, and grocery gift cards or just food for a family in need.
The foodbank had a very successful year in 2023 and we thank everyone who participated to help make it a very successful year. Through these two initiatives, sponsors helped 120 families with children and 85 adult families., for a total of over 600 people. We hope to have another successful year in 2024.
