The Angel Tree The "Adopt a Family" program started in 1993 with just two families. In 2022 we helped 192 families for a total of 606 people, up 100 people from 2021. The 2024 season is ramping up and the Angel Tree Food Bank Association is looking for sponsors. Angel trees for 2024 are located at the following business': Lily Pond Vintage Enfield Home Hardware Enfield Pharmachoioce Cup of Soul - Elmsdale The trees have wishes of our foodbank clients who are 18 years and older who have not been adopted for Christmas. If you would like to help make this Christmas special for one of them, please take an Angel from one of the angel trees in our community, fill in your name and contact information alongside the corresponding Angel I.D. number. Please place your gift in a gift bag, attach the Angel tag and return it to the sponsor by December 6th or Foodbank, located in the basement of the Enfield Legion by 12-2pm, December 8th. Our Christmas week is December 9th to 14th when all food and gifts will be dropped at the Enfield Legion and picked up by families. We supply you with a list of food items that we place in the boxes but you may add whatever extras you like orgive grocery gift cards for the food order and the gift cards go directly to the family in lieu of food. We ask that the total amount of the gift card covers the family food order. Household items such as toilet tissue, soap etc. as well other meats, milk, frozen vegetables, french fries or hash browns you wish. We will also supply you with a WISH LIST of gifts for the children and parents and you may put together Christmas stockings for the children if you like, along with any gifts for pets. If your family agrees, we would release only their first names and if you agree we would release your name and address so they can send you a thank you note.
